Connect HICARI with ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants

On this page

HICARI’s AI connector links your brand account with your AI assistant: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and others. Once connected, you can ask it in your own words to search for creators, prepare a brief draft or summarize your pending deliveries, and it works with the real data from your account. It is only for brand accounts.

Before you start

  • A brand account on HICARI. If you don’t have one yet, create one for free.
  • An assistant that supports remote MCP connectors with login: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Perplexity, Gemini and others.
  • The connector address, which you’ll find below to copy. It is also in your dashboard, under AI Assistants (side menu), together with these instructions.
https://api.hicari.io/mcp

How to connect it in each assistant

Assistant menus change frequently. If you can’t find an option, search for «connectors» or «MCP» in the settings.

  3. Authorize access

The HICARI consent page opens. Sign in, choose the brand account and permissions, and confirm.

Other assistants

Cursor, VS Code and any client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP with OAuth login can use the same address. In their settings, look for the option to add a remote MCP server or connector and paste:

https://api.hicari.io/mcp

Authentication (OAuth) is configured automatically: you’ll be asked to sign in to HICARI the first time.

When connecting, your assistant opens a HICARI page. On it:

  1. Sign in with your HICARI account. Your password never reaches the assistant.
  2. Choose the brand account you want to connect if you have access to more than one.
  3. Check the permissions you grant the assistant.
  4. If you enable spending, set the daily limit for that connection.

Once you confirm, you return to your assistant and can ask it for whatever you need.

What permissions you can grant

PermissionWhat the assistant can doWhen it is active
ReadSearch for creators and view their profiles, your favorites and lists, your requests and their status, candidates, deliveries and their download links, the content library, messages, balance and invoicesAlways
WriteManage favorites and creator lists; create, edit and duplicate drafts of requests; open chats and send messages; request free reviews; rate creatorsIf you check it
SpendPublish requests, choose candidates, add creator slots and approve deliveriesIf you check it (disabled by default)

Messages sent by the assistant go through the same moderation as on the platform: contact details cannot be shared.

Spending: always with your confirmation

Every action with a cost is carried out in two steps:

  1. The assistant shows you a preview of what it is going to do and the amount.
  2. It only carries it out once you confirm that you want to proceed.

In addition:

  • Daily limit per connection. You choose it when connecting: 500 € by default and up to 5,000 €.
  • No cards in the chat. The assistant uses your balance. If it is not enough, HICARI provides you with a secure Stripe payment link to complete the payment. Balance top-ups are made in your dashboard: you’ll find it under Balance, packs and payments.

Privacy and security

  • Creators’ contact details are not shared. The assistant never receives their phone number, email address or physical address.
  • Your password isn’t shared either. Access is authorized on a HICARI page (OAuth).
  • Your team’s roles are respected. If you’re a member of a brand account, the assistant can only access the sections allowed by your role. More information in members and permissions.

Ideas to get started

  • «Find 5 fitness creators in Spain and save them to a list»
  • «Prepare a draft brief for my vegan serum»
  • «Which deliveries do I still need to review?»
  • «Summarize the unread messages»

How to disconnect an assistant

In your dashboard, go to AI Assistants from the side menu. You’ll see the list of connected assistants: click Disconnect on the one you want. It will no longer have access to your account, and to use it again, you’ll need to connect it again.

If something doesn’t work

The consent page has expired

For security reasons, the HICARI page expires if you don’t complete it in time. Go back to your assistant and start the connection again.

The assistant says «you don’t have permission for that section»

Your role in the brand account doesn’t include that section. Ask the account owner to give you access.

Spending actions don’t appear

You didn’t select the Spend permission when connecting. Connect HICARI again from your assistant and select it on the consent page.

Is there a version without signing in?

Yes: https://api.hicari.io/mcp/public responds without an account with public information about HICARI. To work with your brand account, use the connector address from this guide.
