UGC content requests
A request is the assignment you give to one or more creators in HICARI, and the brief is its content: what video you want, how and what you will use it for. In the end, you receive the videos to use on your channels.
Two types of requests
| Public request | Private request | |
|---|---|---|
| Where it is created | Public brief & Campaigns | Creators — private brief → profile → Launch private brief |
| Who participates | Creators apply and you choose (from 1 to 100) | You invite a specific creator, who has 72 h to respond |
| Paid (if you choose it in the brief) | 1 year from approval | 3 months included, extendable to 6 months, 1 year or 2 years depending on the creator’s rates |
| Organic | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Paid is only included if, in the Usage and deadlines step, you choose Paid media or Organic + paid.

Not sure which one to choose? Read Public or private request: which one to choose.
Request lifecycle
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Draft | You are preparing it. It is saved automatically, and you can continue later. |
| Active | It is published or the invitation is pending. The balance is held. |
| In progress | At least one creator is recording. |
| Pending review | A submission is waiting for your approval. |
| Completed | You have approved all collaborations. |
Everything is managed from My requests. For a step-by-step guide, see How to create a request.
