Levels, rates and extras

HICARI has three creator levels: Standard, Pro and Premium. Your level sets your base rate per video, which also depends on the duration (15, 30, 60 or 90 seconds). The rates are set by HICARI, not by you, and you can always see them in your dashboard, under Payments and level.
The three levels

| Premium | The highest level: solid experience, mastery of the brief and professional editing |
Pro and Premium creators earn more per video.
Where you can see what you earn
- Payments and level → Level: your current level and your rate for each duration.
- For each opportunity or invitation: the Breakdown of your earnings and the total you Receive.
- When you register, in the Platform rates step.
What you see is always what you receive. Product shipping, if applicable, costs you nothing and does not affect your payment.
Extras you charge separately

Level and requests
- You can apply to requests for your level or a lower level.
- If you apply to a lower-level request, you keep your rate: if the brand chooses you, it pays the difference for your experience.
- If the request requires a level higher than yours, you’ll see Insufficient level.
How to upgrade your level
Go to Payments and level
In the Level tab, look for the Request level upgrade section.
Add links to your work
For Pro, at least 1 public link to UGC collaborations; for Premium, at least 5. Links from Instagram, TikTok and similar platforms are accepted.
Submit the request
Click Submit request. We review requests every week and notify you by email and on the platform.
You can only have one pending request at a time. If it doesn’t work out this time, keep improving your portfolio and collaborations and try again.
Can I set my own rate per video?
No. HICARI sets the base rate according to your level and the duration. You do decide your Paid surcharges for private invitations and, with more than 6,000 followers on a network, your posting rate on that network.
How long does it take to review my request?
We review level upgrade requests every week.
Can brands that request a lower level hire me?
Yes. You can apply and earn your rate; the brand sees your level and decides.
